What's recommended these days for a bluetooth OBD app (Android)? I've just bought a cheapy adaptor, so need something to connect it to... Torque Lite seems to have quite a few poor reviews suggesting it doesn't work too well with modern phones - is that actually the case? Not that my phone is particularly modern...
I'm much better with old cars that you diagnose with a hammer rather than an app!

I'd upvote that for "diagnose with hammer" alone.
My car is so old it only has 4 motors. Engine, starter, fan blower, and wiper. (Not including the alternator) I wonder if that's a metric..... vaguely remember a modern merceedes has over a hundred separate motors because of power-seats and so on.
