@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 It's the entire hub assembly. Three bolts.
And yes I used a torque wrench.

@IanC They're about $40 each. The last time I got one, I got a set of two for $75. Second one is still in the garage I think.
It's not a difficult job. Lift the car, remove the wheel, caliper and rotor, unplug the wheel speed sensor... typical stuff.
I'm going to go ahead and install the remaining one and see what happens. They're not getting a good review, though. :D

Second thought ... quit hitting curbs ;)

@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 Damn things jump out in front of me. What am I supposed to do?!

When they say, "Jump the curb!" ... you really shouldn't take them literally.

12:09 AM
Are you saying that Dukes of Hazzard wasn't a documentary?
Damn.

12:45 AM
@3Dave Maybe a little time consuming then? I thought you needed a press to remove the old bearing and install the new one. At least you didn't pay much on it in case you can't get a refund
I mean, taking in consideration that you earn in dollars, because with the price of dollar right now $75 is quite a lot in my currency haha

1:02 AM
@IanC The assembly is the entire bearing and hub. No press required.
Since I have the spare from the last order sitting here, I'm going to give that one a shot. It takes almost as long to raise and lower the car as it does to replace the bearing. Annoying, BUT not the end of the world.

1:22 AM
@3Dave - If that had one more lug, it would look like one I'd put on my truck ... go figure, GM Engineers, eh?

2:02 AM
@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 Yep. Very similar to the ones on the Escalade also.

Would be exactly like the Escalade (what I'm talking about). Same as a Silverado/Sierra/Tahoe/Suburban I believe.
Front end, anyway

Yeah. It's AWD
Which really comes in handy in Dallas.

Note of facetiousness in your voice?

Me? Never.

2:27 AM
The 4Runner is RWD. Because I live in Dallas. I can rent a freaking 4WD the two times each decade when I need it.

14 hours later…
4:48 PM
@3Dave Oh I see! Then I agree it's probably worth it trying that last bearing you still have, hopefully you just had a bad luck streak on the other 2 :p
