@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 forgot to post yesterday, I did another try on the patch repair yesterday. Tried to take my time this time and follow your advice of filling the seam completely. I think I managed to really lower the heat warpage by doing it very slowly and using a wet rag

If that had been done on a car patch repair would it be an acceptable quality job? To anyone in the chat with welding experience, I’m open to suggestions on where to improve :)
