@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 yeah, I was off a little on that one. I’d still argue that you can determine input shaft speed based on which gear you’re in and the driveshaft. And, you can detect neutral (or a slipping clutch) if the 2nd derivative of the engine speed over driveshaft speed isn’t flat.

@Paramone - Unfortunately, only the OP can select it as "the answer". The good thing here is, though, there are 14 upvotes on the answer you're talking about, which has punched it to the top. Seems the community has done it's best to "select" it as the answer by voting for it. Great reason to be voting on good answers or even semi-good answers which are actually the answer to the question.

I agree, but that's the way it all works, lol. If you look at my highest voted question, it's had 93 upvotes. It was never selected as the answer by the OP (though in MHO, it IS the answer :o) ... not much anyone can do about it. The OP was around for two days then never came back to the site. Yah, looks ugly, but it is what it is.

Yeah, I get you. Maybe Dev's should make a possibility to, aside from voting for an answer, vote to be the answer or something of that sort. How can I request a feature? :D

@Paramone - You can request something like that through the main Meta.SE site, but realize if it isn't the OP making the choice, then it's only a guess ... as well as maybe none of the answers truly answered the question.

@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 I know what you mean, as a question could have some specifics that some answers just may not be 'the actual answer' for that situation. However ** in this case **, it was a question applying for something in general. I don't know, might request it, might not :)

@All - As many of you have already noticed, we got the new site template, but are still on the generic design. I'll be pinging the Community Moderators to see if they can narrow down when the designers might be working on our site design for us.

@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 I think it works okay on some devices - hoping it makes it quicker/easier to get the custom design though :-)

@RoryAlsop - If nothing else, it does show progress towards a custom site design, if only for the reason they had to get past this deployment before they are going to do anything with custom design.

I am continually looking for the Questions button on top! This side bar thing is going to mess me up for a while!
