Alright, so I'l working on this WPF app.
It's basically a Markdown -> HTML/BBCode translator.
The problem, is I want four tabs (Markdown, HTML, BBCode, Render Preview) that turn into one tab with three panels when resized.
ok....
I have no idea if that is possible though.
(I'm getting a quick diagram around.)
@EBrown It is.

Basically, when the window is at a higher resolution, I want the tabs to turn into a sort of three-column grid.
Markdown on the left, HTML/BBCode in the middle, Render on the right.
It sounds like you want VisualStateGroup.
Are these three tabs displayed in a single page/window document?
It really shouldn't matter, though.
Well it would be four tabs.
And yes, they would all be in a single window.
Oh, well, are they four files loaded in a single window, or is everything in a single doc?
They would be three textboxes, and one browser control.
OK.
It doesn't matter either way, just curious.
What you need is a VisualStateGroup.

That's basically what I want.
Yeah, it shouldn't be that hard.
I've never done that, couldn't tell :D
I've made a two-column layout into a one-column layout.
It isn't that hard, really.
Interesting.
I've always just relied on automagic layouting

...
I need a little more than automagic. Lol
I totally see that :)
This looks like a lot of work.
@EBrown It really isn't.
Even if it is, you could design two completely separate grids and just set the visibility.
@EBrown XAML always looks like a lot of work ;-)
That really would be just a couple extra lines to handle the swap.

I think I might just do the grid thing.
