Oooo. Controversial topic. It does seem like only a feature that's useful in "I need help" style questions rather than "I need information" style questions.
There are a few instances where I like it. Old answers that have a newer, better answer show up but OP is long gone, for example. But I do like that it's on a site by site basis.
