Q: Amperage for electrolysis of water?

firebanner64I am electrolysing water using several different potential catalysts for my eight grade science fair project. The electrolysis will be running at 2 to 2.5 volts over nickel electrodes, as I do not need a long term solution. How much amperage should I put on my DC power supply? Thanks and I would ...

@M.A.R. Fine :)
@M.A.R. Who is the dragon here?
@orthocresol Thank you :). For reference please see the image below, it is from Solomons, Fryhle, Snyder - Organic Chemistry.
The text underlined by red is the statement I was referring to.
@orthocresol The only source which explains both the terms are different is my organic chemistry book. In internet, I am unable to find chemistry websites explaining the difference. But some dictionary sites explain in the similar manner as of my book as above.
Actually before reading this book (S,F,S), I too thought both terms meant the same. But then came to know there is a subtle difference between them.
@M.A.R. Were you referring to Loong?

@AvnishKabaj You don't need curly brackets around the 0 and 1. Don't waste those precious seconds
