Q: Does ultrasonic bath cleaning damage laboratory volumetric glassware calibration?

RomanAs an analytical chemist, I'm always ensuring my glassware is thoroughly clean before I start an analysis. However, my supervisor always states that using ultrasonic bath to clean volumetric glassware damages its calibration, rendering it imprecise for analytical usage. Does that hold true, or is...

How to find the number of node from the graph of $ \psi $ and $ a_0 $?

Which of the following corresponds to one node?
[![enter image description here][1]][1]

The answer is (b).

I think the answer should be (a), because in the function touches the x-axis only one time, thus probability is zero only the time, thus it has only one node. But, that's not the right answer.

Q: What are orbitals actually?

Tushar soniIf s, p, d and f subshells have these kinds of boundary surface diagram, then why don't they include the probability of finding electrons in their preceding shells? As in, if d subshells have boundary surface diagrams as stated by the great scientists, then it must include the nodes of the prec...
