Is it just me or is the edit behaviour somewhat confusing?

If you edit different sections of the same topic, and your previous edit has not been approved, your changes are mashed together into one edit

Wouldn't it be more beneficial to have the edits to different sections of a topic separate?

especially when the editor suggests that the sections are different posts (though they don't seem to be... somehow)

Right now, if you edit an example, submit it for review, then go to edit another example in the same topic, you're not allowed to do it. This despite the fact that you actually are allowed to do so. You just can't do it by pressing the "edit" button. You instead must find the pending change and ...
