What's the process for requesting a new documentation tag? I've seen it done via questions, but all the questions I've seen have had negative votes.

You have to create a tag (can be on an existing question or a new one, doesn't matter), and then you can "propose a new tag" within docs to commit to it

Thanks @AdamLear. I was able to add a tag to an existing question of mine, propose the new tag for docs, and then remove the tag right away.

Removing it might turn out to be problematic. Not sure we handle tag being deleted after it has docs associated with it super well. I guess we'll find out :P
