"New topic [...] on 12h ago" somehow reads wrong. Maybe the "on" should be replaced with something else, maybe "created"..

Hi everyone!
I am trying to create my first topic. While doing that, I noticed that no matter which versions (of Java) I select in the title editor, the preview does not change (it keeps showing "All Versions". Am I doing something wrong or is that a bug?

I'm going to hate the editing feature. It's uncomfortable, laggy and doesn't provide a preview.

@hzpz I get that too, I guess it's just not implemented yet..
@FrancescoMenzani The example / whatever else you're editing is the preview - it's updated in real time. You need to scroll up to see it. I agree that it's kinda laggy sometimes though.
I actually like the editor - I think it's better than the one on main.. Plus it has support for markdown tables !

@JonasCz That's what I thought, thanks for your reply
Why is my draft "too short"? What exactly is counted and deemed "too short" (or "too long" for that matter). The amount of characters?

@hzpz I have no idea.. But the devs can answer that, when they come round later.
@hzpz oh, and it's just the real time preview which doesn't show the versions - once you submit and your changes are live, the version info is shown.

@JonasCz I added a question regarding "too short": docs-beta.stackexchange.com/questions/372/…

@FrancescoMenzani hm. which topic are you editing and which example are you deleting?

So I got to reviewing a proposed change (docs-beta.stackexchange.com/documentation/proposed/changes/1120), and I tried clicking on the orange "Handles improvement requests submitted by ..." box. But the dropdown isn't showing up.
Thoughts?

Looks like a bug.
Huh, two different bugs, actually.

Hello there
I'm trying to make my first request
for Annotations
in Java
but it says it already exists
but it's not on the list of requests and not on the list of Topics
though it appears when typing on the search bar (and goes to 404)
any ideas what's wrong?

8:08 PM
Guessing we're not excluding deleted topics properly
I'll fix that (and the IR display in a proposed change reported above)

@Pablo So, that was also a two-for-one on bugs. We weren't properly excluding deleted topics and examples from that search, and we didn't allow a topic to be requested again if it had already been requested, created based on that request, and later deleted. I'm building out a fix for both issues now, so you should be able to submit the request in about 5 minutes.
Thanks for the report!
