@LаngLаngС With regards to politics, get ready for a gish gallop if you want to outpace that. The Trump presidency should have taught everyone that most media outlets are disingenuous and some are outright liars. Unfortunately, all it's done is filter them into groups that are both rife with investigative malfeasance.
For every take down you spend an hour on for these "fact checks" you'll get 10 more people pointing at something else.
I criticize fact check based answers in the way I criticize wikipedia answers. "So and so says its actually X", to which I reply, "why don't you just quote the relevant material and skip this middle man?" Unfortunately, some users are very reluctant to do that. My cynical self has suspicions. Then we're back to the only real recourse for a shit answer that the author won't improve: make a better one.
BUT, if you'd like to suggest a mod banner with accompanying guideline, I might support that. "Fact check site links aren't good enough. Quote the primary sources."

@fredsbend Yeah. The example illustration above isn't even about 'Trump' but about fact-checkers/Reuters.
@fredsbend Sth like that was my idea for that. Perhaps an update to a FAQ on MetaSSE?
Could such a banner be implemented as per fiat? Thought that would fall under 'post notice', and that those were limited (in a few ways I can't recall)

@LаngLаngС I think the idea is a little close to a new guideline policy, rather than fitting in an existing one. I wouldn't want to push through such a banner without at least a straw poll on meta
I'll take a look at existing guidelines and see if this plays off any.
