11:43 AM
@localhost not too bad.. pretty busy with work but surviving :)

I am good too, lots of work trying not to ask someone about help coz they want me more indepdent and do my own research so it has been great finding my way through work
my fatty liver is back which makes me uncomfortable to sit

12:03 PM
@localhost ouch.. that doesn't sound fun :(

Since I love books and got audiobooks, I was thinking to start a 2 hours walk
I already can do 1 hour easily
Where I live greenrey is non existence, yesterday I was at my sister house, went for walk and it was lush
I love twilight time and fresh air

12:27 PM
@motosubatsu Speaking of books, any recommendation for books about convo? I m so bad at it, I cannot talk besides hello and how r u

12:44 PM
@localhost How to win friends and influence people is well worth a read
it's far less cynical than the title makes it sound

@motosubatsu I did read it twice, It has been 3-4 yrs now
think I need to read it again
the thing ppl can get so much out me and I barely touch the surface has been so annoying

7 hours later…
8:03 PM
@localhost Last weekend I was with some old friends and one of them mentioned they were going to buy themselves a "standing desk"...

8:39 PM
@DarkCygnus I find it funny how much hate the button styling is getting. It'll soon be forgotten.
@DarkCygnus I bought myself a sit-stand desk as well. Had some back issue, which I assume are partly due to sitting all day.

9:11 PM
@zmike is it helping?

2 hours later…
11:08 PM
@DarkCygnus with my back issues? Those were resolved by physio, massage, and doctor visits. I figure I'll see the benefits in long term. In the short-term, it's useful to stand when I'm feeling restless, particularly during boring zoom meetings.
If you have one in the workplace, standing desks are useful for in-person meetings at your desk. It's more efficient use of space, since cumbersome chairs are no longer needed.
