I normally try to make the trip to the interview location a few days before, to work out where the public transport is / what the parking's like etc, and find out roughly how long it'll take me to get there. Then with that knowledge I can aim to be 15 mins early on the day.

@PlayerOne my last interview was on another island, not really a viable option for some people. 6AM ferry, 1 1/2 hour bus ride then trying to keep tidy without sweating in the tropics for a 2PM interview. Especially these days when you may need to travel a fair bit for an interview and have a bunch of interviews lined up.

@Kilisi yea I've been fortunate enough in situations like that to have the option of arriving the day before and staying overnight, obviously wouldn't work everywhere for everyone
