@CanadianLuke Barring any unforeseen issues, it looks as though freelancing.SE is safe from being canned. From what I understand, there only needs to be one nominated moderator from the next election to save the site. As long as I remember to self nominate, it should be fine.
Of course, anyone else can nominate and get
elected, but at least you have a backstop.
