Yep. Not much going on at all here. Not even many questions being asked.

Oooof. That moment of sheer terror when you realise your webcam light never went out after you left the call and you've been singing and dancing along to Bad Boys for the past half hour. ;)

Luckily it turned out to be a glitch but my heart certainly skipped a beat there. :D

I pretty much never have my camera enabled on work calls.

I never have my webcam on at work, and even slide the bar over for extra safe measures

Downside of being the one presenting. Turns out everyone else had turned video off when we started while I was self-conscious in front of it the entire time. ;)

I was never a fan of video but with 100% remote in a new company it's kind of necessary.

I bought a webcam, which is not something I'd ever think I'd say in this day and age. It's like we're back in the MSN days. :)

@Lilienthal There's a few people who do use cameras, but it's the minority. Vast majority of the time, we just say what we need to. Consensus is that visuals distract from the meeting.

I kind of get it, but I wish leads here would push for more video. Even if it's just 5' at the top of a call. I never thought I'd say this but yet here we are lol.

Though to be clear, most meetings, especially regular ones and ones with the known team should just be audio only.

But the weekly all-hands for instance would be good to do on video once in a while so I don't forget what half these people look like. :)

(And if they're actually awake :D)
