@Neo yeah.. we have to sanitise ourselves and our desks multiple times a day etc. She's fine thanks - she was unwell for a few days but returned a negative test and we think it was likely flu rather than COVID.
@Snow And the weird part is you really have no idea who it will affect badly. Young can be crushed by it just as well as the elderly. Although here in the US, mainly whacking the elderly or those with other conditions.
@jserv It's the same reason reference letters aren't really a thing anymore (outside certain sectors like academia or Germany IIRC). It's a document that can only be positive because the candidate will see it. That's why potential employers ask to talk to your references because they want to judge tone and ask about weaknesses as well.
