and graduate schemes tend to include learning as you go. Very few entry-level positions expect you to have full knowledge of the job before you go in. @MaxKapur

each to their own and all that but private plates just don't do anything for me

even if I had an arbitrarily large bank account getting a private plate would still be lower on the list of things to do with it then say giving 10k to charity, or making bratty teenagers fight to the death for it

I just use mine to hide the age of my car, and it means I don't have to keep resetting the number in my Ringo app. I didn't pay a lot for mine.
