@AnneDaunted Wow, that escalated quickly. I see you have also asked me a question on that on my mod Q&A. I am going to edit that question some time later today and get it reopened. I wish I could have done that sooner.
@AnneDaunted and that's "just" a sliver badge lol
@AnneDaunted I was quite pleased with an edit I made to a certain "trollish" question and that helped get rid of most of the drama. Unfortunately, it later turned out the question was in fact a troll, and got deleted.

Q: Why was the question on eating coworkers' lunch deleted?

Masked ManThe question Should I tell coworkers I have been eating their lunch due to a misunderstanding? has been recently deleted. I did call that question a "troll" in the past, but I changed my attitude towards "troll" questions after reading this meta post Fair to VTC for trolling. I decided to improve...

@MaskedMan Still, that silver badge has never been awarded on TWP, in 6 years.
@MaskedMan I remember that question. You suspected it to be a troll question quite early. If it hadn't been part of a multi-site trolling incident, you would have wanted it to stay around? I can't see deleted questions, so I can't comment on the quality of your edit.

@AnneDaunted Yes, until that point, I was of the opinion that troll posts should be deleted. But @IDrinkAndIKnowThings changed my mind here ...
@IDrinkandIKnowThings Your comment above and the positive feedback to my meta answer helped me realize what I had to do to a certain troll question, I have now edited it to make it more useful to the community by removing the trollbaits. — Masked Man Feb 6 at 14:29

@MaskedMan My stance: Judge the question by its content. So I also wouldn't want a troll question to be deleted automatically. It could be a valuable (hypothetical) question. But I would still be stricter than with other questions, as the troll question has some deeper problems: The OP is not interested (never comes back, accepts a silly answer), it might still contain bias even after editing (e. g. putting others in a bad light), and all the other problems of hypothetical questions.

Q: Congratulations Kate Gregory on 100k!

Joe StrazzereCongratulations @KateGregory! You have written some terrific answers over the years. And so that this fits into a "question" format - what do you view as your "best" answer of all time?
