I wouldn't worry about this. Just move forwards with the new company and don't assume that you'll do anything wrong until you actually do something wrong. This is a fresh start for you.
@Nofel you are not responsible for how other people act.. they are adults capable f making their own decisions about what to do and how to treat other people - you didn't make them that way. If you have any "flaw" it's that you were perhaps a bit naive expecting others to treat you with the same respect you treat people with
@Nofel I am more of a lurker in here, so take this with a pinch of salt, but the only thing I think that can be a problem is just the choice of words. I find it very difficult to understand your sentences, so have to read them a number of times to get the meaning. It's not a bad thing, as such, but can make things trickier

@Nofel I tend to avoid words like that, I'd go more with "For the next stage in my career progression I have found a role which provides me with the development opportunities I need, and also offers me a work-life balance which gives me the additional time I would like with my family"
@Nofel probably not necessary.. you'll want to talk about 1) when your last day is going to be 2) taking your remaining holiday/being paid for them 3) things you think you are likely to need to hand over
@Nofel each company I have worked for has had their own checklist, but for me the big one is motosubatsu's number 3. What needs handing over - either physically or logically. Any documentation for other team members, any schedules, links, notifications, out of office email etc
Hi again, As I mentioned the certificates are scanned, and original (physical) are back in Pakistan. I am sending scanned ones beforehand so you can let me know if these are acceptable, you might find document ACCP incomplete and the reason is that the college shut down due to lack of funds and they couldn't provide me full 3 years diploma.

@Snow perhaps it's the fact that I've had my intelligence challenged so often due to my hearing and my autism, and the fact that I have salvaged employees that other managers thought were "too dumb", but that always seems to be a cop-out.
@TheSnarkKnight a lot of the time yes... that said it's not a certainty. I've inherited team members in the past who were practically Too Dumb to Live, not that I would have ever said that to them or to anyone in the organisation though - there's always a way you can make them useful and productive members of the team

@DavidK absolutely.. I think he understands that we mean it affectionately and isn't offended exactly - just that he'd rather not be in the spotlight like that
And I see what he's saying about "HR is not your friend". It's worth including since it's used so often, but I think we need to phrase it in such a way that doesn't imply that everyone agrees with it.
I think he's also pointing out that satirical humour has no place on stack (or any kind of humour, it seems). People who seek to be offended will be offended by humour. People will be offended if they don't get the joke. People will be offended if they're the subject of humour. People will be offended if they're in a bad mood, etc. etc. etc.
@Snow Yes, I generally agree with that sentiment, about satire, humor, and sarcasm. It's not just that people will seek to be offended, but things are easily misinterpreted. We have to deal with the lack of tone of voice, and many have to deal with interpreting to a second language. It's just easier to be direct.
@TheSnarkKnight agreed.. or managers were pigeonholing them as "stupid" and not trying different ways of explaining things to them, it can become a viscious cycle where the employee thinks they are stupid and as their confidence goes down their performance does with it - becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy of sorts

@motosubatsu I'm an interesting case. I have no learning curve, so I either "get it" or do not, which has had quite an effect on managers who were ready to give up on me and then suddenly, I not only know the subject matter, but sometimes have demonstrated advanced knowledge of it.
@TheSnarkKnight I guess my point wasn't to debate whether or not "HRINYF" is accurate or not, just that when we're defining the meme, we should be careful not to represent the definition as The Workplace Truth if not everyone agrees with it.
Maybe it's best just to put a disclaimer at the top question, that definitions are for how a meme is used, and don't necessarily attest to the validity of the sentiment associated with them.
@DavidK I think that if "HR IS NOT YOUR FRIEND" is defined as: HR represents the company's interests and is the company's friend, and will stand by the company. HR will NOT stand by you if you are wrong.

@TheSnarkKnight I think the problem that some people have with that phrase is that it's easily interpreted as "HR IS YOUR ENEMY", which is not what is intended
also for future reference they are "trousers" not "pants", a car has a "bonnet" and a "boot" not a "hood" and a "trunk", it's "petrol" not "gas" (it's a liquid FFS!)
@motosubatsu When I worked at AT&T, I saw a guy ruin his marriage and life being a good little team man as they dangled a promotion over his head.... only to give it to someone else. It was ugly. Burnout doesn't even begin to describe it. Flameout is better. Meanwhile, team morale was in the toilet, and when he got passed over, it was as good as flushing down whatever morale was left.

Probably Joe could edit that Community Wiki to enhance that HR meme, so it includes the situations where you should go to HR.... its just that most of the times (hence why a meme) going to HR as proposed by the posts isn't the way to go

@DarkCygnus Maybe, but I stopped caring about downvotes long ago. It is just a waste of time trying to figure out why someone downvoted, and even if you do figure it out, the reason is usually not something that will help to improve your post. It would be more like, "I completely disagree with this answer because of this one-in-a-million scenario I just made up where it fails miserably."
@DarkCygnus About Joe's comment on your answer, I think he makes a great point. The answers to the meme post should bring out the "fun" aspect of the community. Many of them are written in a far too serious tone IMHO. We should try to lighten it up a bit, so that new users who read them realize that it is not a literal handbook.
@Nofel That sounds more like a figure of speech. He is just brushing off your question as "Duh! all you are asking for is budgeting." He doesn't literally want to translate your question. Anyway, just ignore that comment. There are plenty of people like those who know everything, and treat everyone else like they know nothing.
I kinda feel the problem comes from "HR is not your friend" (wrongly) translating to "HR is your enemy". Perhaps something more neutral like "HR is just doing their job of looking for the company's interests" would be more appropriate, although it is way too long ... and certainly out of context as far as the meme goes.
I mean, when writing answers on the main site. The current phrase "HR is not your friend" sounds way too harsh. The meme can stay as it is, because it is a meme, it makes no sense to "correct" it.
There are humans working in the HR department too, and who would like to hear, "Since you are in HR, you are not my friend"? I think that's what Joe is trying to get at, when he says we don't want Workplace to be seen as the guys who hate HR.
