@AaronHall I suppose some "Quiet Area" signs might work though they're probably equally likely to be laughed off.

Probably your best bet would be to raise it as a concern with your manager beforehand if you know he'd be responsive to something like this.

He'll probably be able to tell you what, if anything, you can do to minimise interruptions.

Maybe he'll let you expense some nice Bose noise-cancelling headphones :)

@JohnBrown I've done a variety of stuff, I'm pretty much an expert in VBA (actual OO VBA, lol) and have a fair bit of experience in c++ (though I'm not at all an expert there)

I'm currently doing ETL work which is b-o-r-i-n-g

The way I see it, such edits should either be done from the perspective of the OP with a comment below informing the OP of the substantial edit.

Or a comment should summarise the OP's comments elsewhere.

Or as a third option, add a meta-edit but make it clear that it wasn't written by the OP using more obvious formatting.
