Q: Is job-hopping bad for a developer's career?

Matt HarrisonI've been in my current position for 6 months (out of a 12 month contract) at a higher education establishment. This guy has two questions in here really. I'm thinking of suggesting he split it into two if it doesn't work as a single post. Maybe we can make the two work together or maybe he can just focus on one.

@jmort253 the secondi s a "tell me what to do" question

@enderland How can we word it so it's not a tell me what to do?

@jmort253 I don't know if we can, beacuse the core questino (overall, really) seems to be, "shoudl I leave this job or not"

> How can I use my leverage at my current employer to help create an environment with less, direct hands on management of my work?
