@JackBNimble I wonder if the consistent line of the lightsabers, guns, staff and, erm, green light will end up meaning anything to the film itself, thematically.

@JackBNimble Instability and power define the Dark Side. It also has a crossguard - learning from past mistakes?

@DrRDizzle I don't see how. The crossguard on a traditional sword it designed to protect your hands from an opponent's blade sliding down.

But the way this is designed, a lightsaber would go between the red side blade and the main blade, and still cut the person's hand.
