Strange. I installed one overclocking upgrade in a pair of macerators, however they seem to go as fast as the other two that don't have the upgrade. Is it just not noticeably faster unless you put 2 or 3 upgrades in?

So, I tried Agrarian Skies this week-end ... and damn, I'm missing Logistics Pipes.
Yeah, I can use TE's pneumatic stuff for most of the things, but still ...
Also, once I had two Minefactory farms (one for trees, one for food) and automatic sieving for gravel, sand, dust and soul sand (and processing of the results) going, I kinda lost the motivation for much of everything else. It's mostly just AFKing now, eating something every few minutes watching as metal ingot counts grow by the hundreds.

Know that feeling. I've been doing a lot with applied energistics 2 for both automation and storage, now I'm at the point where I've realized how channel-naive I've been. Looking square at ripping out hundreds of pieces of cabling and replacing with dense, making and installing a ton of p2p networks and a whole bunch of other stuff if I want to expand past what I've got.
That's going to be a ton of not-so-fun crafting, dyeing and work, so now I'm trying to think of new things to do that doesn't require expanding my network :)
Well, at least I like my twisted mess of itemducts, fluiducts and energy conduits everywhere. It has a nice "factory wiring" feeling to it, and navigating it all takes skill.
AE (the first one, in Agrarian Skies) doesn't even work with Microblocks ...

Strange, I saw them work on the ultra-modded survival series. Well, wool ones anyway.

Are the lasers around a build craft assembly table supposed to have a passive energy drain?
16:02
IIRC yes.

I am no longer dependent on foreign oil! Now, I'm dependent on foreign lava. But, that's better, all I have to do is keep a steady supply of lava buckets coming in, and the geothermal generators automagically get stuffed. It's much easier to just go to the nether than to run to a bunch of distant refineries.
So as long as I have a stock of empty cells, I can easily manage. I have a huge stock pile of coal if things get hairy, plus 2 out of 3 6 block high tanks are still full of fuel, so I can run the 10 combustion generators in an emergency if needed.
I only need to turn those on when I need to use the assembly table.
Now, just an awful lot of cables to neaten up, and some serious channel management.
