@MonicaCellio, I had a bit of difficulty with writing the New York slang for Chs 7 and 8... since I'm Australian, and we don't always hear genuine new York speech on TV hereabouts. Do you have any opinion on how I did?

Also, as to that girl... I'm sure that you've figured out that there's something more about her than that she is just into a bunch of survival/self-defence type skills. What that is, you'll have to wait a long time to find out, or figure it out for yourself, since I am planning on using her as the central character for a story set around a decade post-Juggernaut.

However, you should be able to figure it out... eventually. I put a lot of care and thought into designing Morgan's character, and also consulted with a friend on some aspects. You may have figured out that its something psychological, since it is in the text that she has been seeing a pshrink. If you work from there...
