@Raphael Computability & Complexity. I've taken a basic course on data structures & algorithms, and I'll take a course on the analysis of algorithms as well so I guess I wouldn't include them. I mainly wanted to learn all the different algorithmic complexity classes and the results in them, my background is just a few lectures on automata and languages from a discrete maths course.
@vzn The book seem to cover things I've taken in prior classes: basic algorithms & data structures, finite state machines and logic (from digital logic design). I can borrow from the university's library which will probably have the recommended textbook.
