@Evil seems to be a few per day but strangely it doesnt show up in referrer logs, maybe some SE glitch. am going to fully enjoy the 2mos that it runs before * poof *

@Evil the ads only run 1 yr at beginning of yr. they are cleared at end of yr. mine only reached 6v in early nov. so only 2mo run. :| whatever ... how was your trip? whatd you do? have any fun?

@vzn well, it was fun, but I was working, so not really went sightseeing. It changes POV, how normal world should look like...

@Evil did you notice big differences with your hometown? yeah travel can be horizon expanding and/or alienating in different ways...

The first thing is a culture of drivers

Walking slowly at the sidewalk was quite involving, as drivers slowed down just in case I would like to run across the road

@vzn big differences = some things were totally different, little in common = there are a few things that looks more or less the same

@Evil yeah driving can vary a lot between cultures, have some 1sthand experience with that too...

@vzn The funniest thing is driving in Cairo, literally nobody cares if you drive in wrong direction or park a car in the middle lane

@vzn I was amused how the pyramids are close to the city or rather surrounded by. The guards / patrols / police whatever, guarding pyramids made me wonder, why they are there.

Instead of preventing people from walking on them, they offered help in taking photos etc.

Presumably to guard the ancient history?

Anyway, the tour guide from Cairo was native Egyptian, and he learned to speak fluently in polish only by guiding tours for several years.

Oh, do you know that you can take the sword to the plane cabin? Of course you cannot take scissors or knifes, but... sword is not restricted object.
