I am not huge on the stack overflow community... while there are alot of helpful people out there there are also alot of people who don't know what they are talking about
@DatLumberZach I hear you. However, we are about computer science here; I would not expect anybody to know what they are talking about wrt JS. :)
Your best bet is to ask on Stack Overflow, wait for a couple of answers and pick the most upvoted. (And evaluate solutions critically yourself, of course.)
