why do alma maters always expect our help rather than helping us? They always send mails to us inviting us to participating in activities through which they encourage us to donate money. It's not that as long as we graduate we would automatically become abundantly paid so that we can become financial helpers.
chances are alma maters are far more capable in serving as financial helpers than us.

Q: MacLane-Birkhoff's "Algebra" vs Jacobson's "Basic Algebra I,II" vs Lang's "Algebra"

Ishan(Cross-posted at Math.Stackexchange) I'm searching for an apt textbook(s) on Abstract Algebra for a very advanced undergraduate/graduate level course in Algebra, and would be grateful for any help. it's never a bad choice to have some food when you pass by an eatery even you are not hungry then.
you may get hungry later when you arrive the ruin if you didn't so that.
and the chance is very big.

when I was just on the street, there was a woman talking to me some physical pains of her mother. She talked a little long and I just wondered why she told me that because I don't know her at all and she is a complete stranger to me. Finally she asked me whether I could lend her 100 dollars. How absurd! Her talking to me so much is just to borrow 100 dollars. It's a small number, just enough to eat a meal in an average-priced eatery.
if she even didn't have 100 dollars, I wonder how she lives. In this metropolis, it's impossible to hunt and gather.
