I guess it's only tangential here - since the question is more than 60 days old - but since it was mentioned in another chat room, I'll ask here in chat whether a question like this would be suitable for Academia: What's a mathematician to do?

@quid Either it should be moved to Academia or it should stay and be open. Frankly it's mathematical enough for here IMO. "MathOverflow is a question and answer site for professional mathematicians." Not "for professional mathematics".
