@drN I bet you could ask that as a question on the main site. Something like "how to prepare for the defense" It is a little subjective, but I bet it could be made to work.

To those voting to close

It would surprise me if the question was not rapidly reopened. It seems the driving reason to close is "I think marriage is a highly personal issue and nobody can give a definitive answer to this question. " I think we should given questions a little lee-way on Academia.SE and not require questions to have definitive answers, but merely helpful answers.

@eykanal: Hi! This is an entrance exam applicable only in one state of India. This is written by high-school students for bachelor's in engg and health sciences. I guess bachelor's sciences are off-topic, right?

Moreover different states have different entrance tests in India and the information must be available on the corresponding websites. In that sense, the question is too localised as well.

@Shyam The whole meta discussion we had a few months ago notwithstanding, we do tend to keep closed posts around for a little while just so others see it and see that it was closed

kind of as an educational tool

it's recommended behavior for the beta sites, as we're still getting new users who (as can be seen here) don't realize that this is an academics site, not a general education site
