@RajorshiKoyal Well, a sort of why would be to say because Latin is a language that goes nuts with the cases and has touched English directly. Further than that, I guess people decided it was useful to do. I'm not sure the why is answerable, and if it is, it's certainly not the sort of answer you're looking for; it's not going to be extra insight
