Despite what FumbleFingers says in the comments, I feel that sector may be out of place in an English text.

It is out of place. The common terminology for a part of a company is: division, unit, department. I really do not understand why you would not interact with me since I used to WRITE about companies and am far from clueless about them. Also, product line can be used, but not for "meat" per se.
sector is typically used for business sector. YES. And: Oil & Gas, a sector of the economy.
