@AIQ hahaha I am really sorry. Like if this makes you feel any better, I have put on 10% of my weight since the beginning of the year
@AIQ Don't sweat it. If anything I was saying how much I admired you for working out, or talking about trying to. That showed staying power, the kind of staying power that I envy.
I did ... I will get back to my martial arts training once the covid thing comes under control and once I get a good job ... My boxing gym reopened and had a slow start for 2 months and not closed again last week ... BC government closing all martial arts gyms
@EddieKal I have a part time job ... it is fine ... but it's a contract until the end of December ...
I am considering buy some fish
like having an aquarium
so I can have some friends right in front of me haha
Eddie does your apartment not have a gym?
Some high-class apartments here in BC have gyms ...
but I have only looked at them from the outside ... haha
@AIQ No, it is really rare to see gyms in apartment complexes in California. When I was on the East Coast, newer/upscale apartments/condos usually had gyms but I would only go like once a month. It is different in Cali
Lol you are asking the wrong person. I don't drink often. Only very very occasionally. I myself don't enjoy drinking. I only go out to drink with friends if they want to
Ah ... I don't know ... In my country we build friendships over tea on roadside tea-stalls
All meaningful conversations happen over tea ... Here people go out to clubs and bars ... I have joined them many times ... but since I don't drink ... I don't seem to be able to "let loose" ...
@AIQ If you don't drink you don't have to force yourself to be part of something you don't even enjoy. I have friends who don't drink for religious reasons. I don't drink much because I don't like it. People hang out and do all kinds of things for fun. I really don't think drinking is necessary.
The last time I went to a bar I had a coke
I have a small stash of various kinds of alcohol, wines, whiskey, sake, but only for cooking.
