I wonder if colorblind people read Colorado as just ado

@CowperKettle There's much Colorado about that for nothing.
@userr2684291 That comes with the culture, I guess
I used to be like that. Old man Logan plays in the background
Your English is great!
^ See, now I'm no longer like that
Hmm, maybe I should put the caret before the text.
Better. My joke is great.
@ColleenV It looks like they wrote a title and modified it to a degree that the original sentence wasn't there anymore
@userr2684291 I'm sure there are some Brits other Brits would have trouble understanding
But how likely is an NNS from Iran to adopt such accents?
And I told you, it wasn't the accent. I couldn't even figure out the accent
It was like the first sound film was recorded on a crappy CD for a century and now you try to play the CD with a gramophone

Q: The use 'revenge' in "The poor murdered girl must be revenged."

dan The poor murdered girl must be revenged. I saw the sentence in the dictionary on my cellphone. I doubt the use of 'revenged' in that sentence and I think it should use 'avenged' instead because, as I know, 'revenge' can't take a direct object (as in "she vowed to revenge her brother's death....

I don't think a murdered girl is financially troubled anymore, but that's just personal opinion

> After a battle, a badly wounded sailor gets the major part of his willie removed. The nurse bandages the wound and sees the letters "..ea", a remainder of a tattoo.
- Was this a girl's name, sailor? Andrea? Alexea, probably?
- Well.. no. It was "Greetings to the sailors of the Baltic from the sailors of Crimea"
(a Russian WWII joke)
12:27
Yikes.
Basically the aim of the joke was to imply that his willie was extremely long before the operation.
there are variations with added phrasing, like "glorious sailors... from the Orden of the Red Banner fleet of the Black Sea" etc.
To drive this point further, so to speak.
Yep, that's a Russian joke alright

Working on a big project alone again, ugh.
