Hi, I told someone that I'll never bend the knee to them i.e. "I'll never bend the knew to someone like you". I guess I thought about yield to or swear allegiance to so that must be why I used the preposition to. Do you think it's best to use to or for in this case or if you think both work do you think the meaning would be somewhat different? Or do you think that should always be intransitive?
