Word of the morn: tiny house movement
@CowperKettle After you replaced the hard disk in your Dell, is it working well for you now?
By the way, when I activated my Windows 10 after reinstalling, I did not have to key in any licence. The licence is tied to the hardware and the computer is digitally activated after connecting to the internet @CowperKettle.
04:36
@Jasper The laptop is still at the repair station. It will be two months soon.
I will pick it up from them, I think, in a couple of days. I don't care if they have repaired it or not.
I will throw away the old disk, buy a new one using my own money, and write a bad user's comment on the main Russian website where users post comments on products. Taking two months to deliver a disk is bad.
I won't have any issues with the OS, because I cloned the Windows partition to an SSD beforehand.
Maybe I'll buy a second SSD instead of buying a replacement HDD
SSD have gotten way cheaper in the last few months
04:56
@CowperKettle I see. I don't know how you cloned it, but I hope that activation won't be a problem. I read that in my case, if I had changed the components of my hardware, there might be a problem with the digital activation, because the signature of the machine would have changed.

I put a 500GB SSD in this computer. I really like it! It’s my first SSD.
@snailboat Yes, it's a curious feeling when the whole raft of Windows programs suddenly loads almost instantly on startup
They say that SSDs will get massively cheaper this year.

@snailboat What brand are you using?
@CowperKettle There is another technology called Intel Optane Memory. I have not tried it but it is also supposed to make programs load up faster. When you buy these computers, they will say 512 GB HDD + 16 GB Optane, for example.
@CowperKettle Yes, just now I read a few more reviews where people sent it to repair multiple times and still there were problems. Maybe it is better for me to get HP instead.

@Jasper I know that but the price is not for me

Q: "function models ONLY two variables at a time" vs. "function ONLY models two variables at a time" - place the adverb correctly

MaryamI read about using only in English. From my understanding, only is a modifier that it is placed next to a verb, a noun or a subject that need to be modified. I also learn that changing the place of only will change the meaning of the sentence. This helps me a lot but I am still confused about my ...

Ha! I knew it would become a hot network question if only I rephrase the title!
@snailboat What is your model? Did you install it yourself? Was it easy?

Nattō (納豆) is a traditional Japanese food made from soybeans fermented with Bacillus subtilis var. natto. Some eat it as a breakfast food. It is served with soy sauce, karashi mustard and Japanese bunching onion. Nattō may be an acquired taste because of its powerful smell, strong flavor, and sticky, slimy texture. In Japan, nattō is most popular in the eastern regions, including Kantō, Tōhoku, and Hokkaido. == History == Sources differ about the earliest origin of nattō. One theory is that nattō was codeveloped in multiple locations in the distant past, since it is simple to make with ingredients...

I ate a nothingburger and had a bowel movement, then joined the tiny house movement. My tiny house is on wheels, because a wheel is older than a wall.
14:31
@CowperKettle Well, since you mentioned price, I just wanted to say that this Optane thing is not expensive. Only SSD is expensive.

Dry food seems to never function well.
6 breads seem still not enough
@CaptainBohemian Do you mean you feel hungry after eating 6 slices of bread?
15:38
@Jasper yes.

Ada Anderson (née Nymand) was a British athlete famous for her feats of pedestrianism in the later half of the 19th century. == Early life == Anderson's early life is not very well known. Her father Gustavas Nymand was reported to be a ‘Cockney Jew’, but the nationality of her mother was not known. She left home at sixteen to join a theatre company and five years later married the man whose name she was most commonly known by. She claimed to have been a singer, clown, and theatre proprietress, with a childhood ambition to be famous by accomplishing something no one else could do. Having struggled...

Roland the Farter (known in contemporary records as Roland le Fartere, Roulandus le Fartere or Roland le Petour) was a medieval flatulist who lived in twelfth-century England. He was given Hemingstone manor in Suffolk and 12 hectares (30 acres) of land in return for his services as a jester for King Henry II. Each year he was obliged to perform "Unum saltum et siffletum et unum bumbulum" (one jump, one whistle, and one fart) for the King's court at Christmas.Roland is listed in the thirteenth-century English Liber Feodorum (Book of Fees). == See also == Le Pétomane == References == Bar...
