When do you exactly use this ''of'' in sentences, Sometimes I just include them in my sentences because it doesn't look/sound correct, but if I don't know the rules for it, it's inaccurate....

Daily idiom: “light a fire under”. The work was supposed to be done 2 weeks ago. I’m going to go over there in person and light a fire under them.
@Federico When the woman said she was “running on Reynold’s time” she meant that her entire family always runs late, so they keep time differently from everyone else (like they have their own time zone)
Is that a common joke? or Reynold was just the first name popping up in the cartoonist mind?
I think it could have been any last name
