@snailboat My endocrinologist just gave me an appointment with another endocrinologist
This is called "playing football" in Russian
When doctors toss you around, waiting until you get exhausted of visits made in vain
I think that iron deficiency would have been visible on the complete blood count.
I'll read up
I had a 4-day spell of good condition, but when I started jogging again, eventually I went to feeling fatigued again
Today I feel way better than yesterday
But I'm wary of doing exercise
And I will have to cancel my 11-day hiking trip in the Altai mountains in July
I bought railway tickets, and now I'll have to read up on how to ... what is the term used in English for giving your tickets back and getting 80% of their cost?

@CowperKettle Kind of like the American English slang punt, I suppose, where you avoid doing work by making someone else do it.

@CowperKettle I have no idea. Everything's always non-refundable.

But I guess it would be a partial refund.

@snailboat Interesting! In Russia, long-distance train tickets are refundable.
Curious
But I understand the doctors. I read up on my test results, and they are non-conclusive. I would struggle to come up with an easy diagnosis. I've done the key differential tests myself, and I know that it's not a tumour (well, 99% sure).
And they have no time to investigate in-depth.
Healthcare is underfunded

Frown.

But soon drew back, afraid of overweight.
O, overweight! How many gallant gluttons
For fear of you forbear their spicy muttons.

I asked Pullum about what he said above and he said he "broadened the informal style" a bit in that article.
All is right with the weather again.
Word of the day: read a room

Taurus are ego-maniacs; they always take for granted what others do for them but can't do much for others.

"Highway to Hell" rendered as Halyu, prikhod (Halya is a girl's name, prikhod means "come to me")
I feel so much better. I hope MAR is okay too.

hunger exhibits a lot of characteristics of other illnesses, so should be attended if other illnesses are.

@snailboat Despite the answer to ell.stackexchange.com/questions/168906 being a categorical (ha) no, does a foot in front of me need to be an object? How do you determine that's the case? I read a bit on this and apparently there's such a thing called the passive test. However, and now this might not make any sense, but can't a foot be a modifier of in front of me, which means because it's not a core element A foot in front of me can barely be seen isn't sufficient?
Er, CaGEL says core complement, but I think the gist of what I said above is the same.
s/sense, but/sense,/

On second thought, I think I have it all wrong and mixed up. Let me ask a more basic question first: What's the function of in front of me in I can barely see in front of me? For some reason I thought a PP couldn't be an object, but why not.
