@snailplane I just deleted the Answer even though there is really noting to dispute since it is 100% correct. It's just not worth fighting. I feel bad for anyone who is mislead as the other Answers are also mostly correct but have also been Downvoted.
@snailplane Well, then. Seems I can't delete my own Answer. So, please delete it. If I can't defend it, I do not want it published.

Q: How are Grammar and Parts of Speech terms related?

mbigrasI'm wanting to build my understanding of English grammar and parts of speech. I want to sort out which terms build on each other but am getting confused because there are so many terms that I'm not seeing how they are related. It seems like grammar is made of: Clauses Phrases Words And parts...

A: "He committed a crime killing/by killing a bird"

Man_From_India He committed a crime killing a bird. The part - killing a bird - is a Gerund-Participle Clause, formed by the ing-form of the verb - kill - together with the complement of kill - a bird. The meaning of this sentence is ambiguous - While killing a bird, he made a crime. Both "committing...

I woke up with a heavy headache at 6 am. Went to the hospital, to my doctor who supervised me. They sampled my blood again. I wonder if it's related to the tick bite. Human organism and its disorders is a huge field of research. They said they'll call me back.

@CowperKettle oh god! Hope everything will be alright.
17:43
@Man_From_India The sentiment is appreciated, though :)
@Man_From_India @snailplane I'm not sure, but people (in the UK at least) might definitely say "I've cleaned them all"
18:22
@AraucariaMan nods it's much more natural to me too.
But I was concerned with this sentence
> I have these all there is.
This sounds very strange to me. But grammatically I don't think there is anything wrong.
19:16
@Man_From_India The problem there is that "all there is" is a clause in which there is * is a relative clause modifying *all. But in "I have them all" for example, all is modifying them - and is thus part of the them all NP
Got to go, sorry!!!!
This site is for No-native speakers that are learning, right?

@rubStackOverflow That's generally who asks the questions... yes. Many of the people answering them are native speakers, though. We don't restrict who can utilize the site.
Thanks @Catija
