I know a little bit about encryption/decryption and signature/verification schemes from a course that I took about 3-4 years ago, but that's about it. Not sure it has anything to do with Voting...
Back then, Ive made a document that summarizes the differences between 4 Asymmetric Encryption/Decryption algorithms (ElGamal, RSA, Rabin, GM) and the differences between 4 Asymmetric Signature/Verification algorithms (Schnorr, RSA, Rabin).
I just used what I had in that document in order to answer your question. I can send it to you, but I doubt it would answer your specific question.
