I suggest adding trophy and medal as a synonym1 of the tag awards. (Or maybe trophies and medals, if plurals are preferred in the tag names?) Both words are commonly used terminology and this would be consistent with the current usage of the tag; there are several questions in this tag including...

BTW I have made a few edits on your post on meta - added tag-synonyms tag to the question, and included the name of the proposed synonym in an answer.

Of course, feel free to revert my edits or edit the post further if you don't think they were right thing to do. (But at least in the case of adding the tag, I think that tag-synonyms is a relevant tag for that question.)

@PhilipKendall If the thread "Tagging Up: edits, synonyms, requests, and other tag-related work" is supposed to be a centralized place where tag-synonyms and tag-related issues are going to be discussed, maybe it would be a good idea to add RSS feed of that question to this room. (So that new answers are also posted here and get a bit more visibility.)

What do you think? And if you (and others) think it is a reasonable idea, could you perhaps add the feed to this room?

At the moment, the only feed is the feed for meta question. Looking at past post in the room gives an estimate how often a new question is posted on meta.

The area51 stats currently show 3 QPD. This is much better than a year ago. (And I'd say that it is above average, comparing with the numbers from the past.)

Area51 stats now show 1.7 QPD. Much better than the last one.

We will see whether the number of questions increases during the Winter Olympics.
