@RamChandraGiri Since you've mentioned that you are Chelsea fan, is there something new concerning rumors of Eden Hazard's transfer to Real Madrid.
I am not a Chelsea fan. But I definitely like Eden Hazard's play a lot.
Occasionally I might cheer for some team just because one of my favorite players plays there - I guess this is rather atypical, most football fans are attached to a club rather than to a player.
But maybe it's different for somebody following a league played in different country, like I do. I guess in many cases if it's team from somebody's own country, they might be attached simply because of the team represents they identity in some way (for example if the team is linked to a particular region).
In some cases fandom can be also an expression of political stances.
@MartinSleziak I could not find video link but Hazard has denied that rumor. I think it was from skysports.com/transfer-centre.
I became a Chelsea fan because after we got cable TV in home the first Premier League match or in fact the first football match that I watched was of Chelsea and they won, since then I am following Chelsea.
