Although initially there was some activity, there was not really much discussion about Algebraic Geometry recently.
I think at might be better to let the room get frozen rather that keep it alive artificially. If somebody decides to revive this room, it can be unfrozen by a moderator: meta.stackexchange.com/questions/70198/…
In such case it would probably good to try to advertise some room, for example on meta:
Would there be an interest in having more specialized chat rooms, like the one for homotopy theory that currently exists?
So far, the homotopy theory one seems to be fairly successful, and it seems that other topics might also enjoy a chat room like it.
