YO WHASSUP NIGGA

hahaha

so im basically the js master, wat are your troubles, sensei?

that's the game code in all it's glory

jeez man you got about 20 classes for a breakout game!
is that really necessary

i want to make a really great one though
So, the rendering stuff is all taken care of, I have rectangles for the positions of the sprites and everything.

9:29 PM
wanna make sure its abiding by all the rules and best practices of oop, eh? nice. so you just need to insert a physics framework?

yes :)

for particles and shit, making, it look good :p

for the moment I really just want to get collision working

well tbh i wouldn't know much about how to import box2d into an existing project lol, but you could always just convert your project to a phaser type thing phaser.io
then with 1/2 command, all your objects are physical objects that interact with everything else :P
may seem like cheating but hey...
js is cheating :P

hahaha I really don't want to do that

9:32 PM
lol yeah it'd be probably be tedious :P

This is what I was thinking
I could just replace the rects with some kind of box2d property (a body or whatever) and use that to render my stuff, while still updating the physics world.

well there's probably a way of importing box2d, yes! do that! not sure how it would be done, but it almost definitely could be :)

You don't know much do ya?
no offense

hahahahah yeah:P ive done barely anything in js lol
am i a good faker?
