What does it mean: I think one can always know at once whether a man has home claims upon his life or not.

@VikasKumar I think it means something like "It's easy to tell whether a man is married or not."

It's easier to understand in context.

This is what I don't understand @snailboat "home claims upon". What does it mean? Hows is this sentence related to marriage?
Ϻ.Λ.Ʀ.
08:36
@VikasKumar "A man has home claims" means that a man can say that "I have my own house". IOW, he has a family and is married.

I still don't have a job.
I don't have a job yet.
@Ϻ.Λ.Ʀ. Please tell me which one is correct?
Ϻ.Λ.Ʀ.
@Magsi Both are correct.
But they mean different things.
"I still don't have a job." ← Means you tried and tried and tried but you didn't succeed in finding a job.
"I don't have a job yet." ← Means you never had a job.
Magsi
Are you sure?
Ϻ.Λ.Ʀ.
Yes.
You use them in different context to imply different things.
The "still" version implies and emphasizes "don't have a job".
So I just gave two context where each sentence would fit well.
Magsi
Okay, thanks for helping me.

@Magsi I'd recommend 'chapters'.
But both are correct.
@Snail is better at explaining this.
@Snail how can you tolerate SE mobile?
