I really don't have any beef with the author and while I still have some reservations mostly towards the form of the answer, it isn't problematic in my opinion. tThe comment discourse was actually good, it would probably just escalate to a huge discussion - solution is probably to move it to chat.

OP insists on calling out imsodin, indirectly, as bullying him. Since they rolled back my edit I'm escalating this to you. I don't feel like imsodin is acting inappropriately. I feel like the OP is insisting on being needlessly shrill. Regardless of what is correct, I think this should be on your radar.
