I had a merge yesterday that had 0 conflicts... But managed to wipe two weeks of my code out. I still have no idea how that happened.

This chat UX is so bad... If you type "@Lia" for example, you get Liam as a suggestion. However, "enter" doesn't accept this suggestion but sends your message. This is sooOoo out of concept.

@OddDev No I just use GIT extensions, we have a bitbucket server to host it

There's Sourcetree too, but I don't like it. Very shiney, doesn't work very well

@Liam yeah it's not the best. Think my new place uses subversion.

@OddDev Yeah, we've a bitbucket server, too. Most of us are using Sourcetree atm but we're are not really satisfied with it (as you've already pointed out). That's why GitKraken seems to be a good alternative. I don't have the time to fully test it out at the moment.

Subversion is pure hell imho... Our partner dev-team uses it... Feels like invented in an ancient empire... :D

@OddDev yeah I've used it before, it's not as intuitive as GIT. But since WP uses it heavily, it's still out there.

@OddDev re:chat, what's with people using "enter" for autocomplete? I've always considered it to mean "send it" in a chat interface, so expecting it to also work for autocomplete seems really bad UI.
