@rhermans To do that in Mathematica, you could press Ctrl+Shift+I to convert the cell into InputForm. However, that little functionality needs to understand Mathematica code and make a code transformation. Bringing that into the Editor Buttons JavaScript extension is a project you'll be assigned to when you end up in hell after making some bad life choices :)
