@Szabolcs I agree on articulating a detailed picture on what it's ideal, acceptable or motive for closure. I agree that attaching notebooks or links to extensive code is never aceptable. However, I think that attaching data should be allowed in special cases when it's hard to create synthetic data that reproduces an issue.

@rhermans Most data files that people post could be reduced to something much smaller. In some cases minimizing the data brings more than just convenience for those who might answer. Think of graphs: if it's small enough that you can look at it, it's much easier to analyse the problem.
